2008 Fall Championship Game
The defending Sand Sharks from the Spring 2007 squared off against the past champions Sand Spurs once again. This would be the 8th time the two would square off in a final for the Tidewater Virginal area. It was the Sand Spurs turn to win in another great rivalry with defense leading the way on both offenses 13-12. As time ran out the Sharks scored and made it 13-12. To a man & woman the Sharks went for the 2 point conversion to win with under a minute to play. Rob Unger a captain for the team for many years went way up to snag the 2 point conversion from PJ Yates and secured the win. This years Spring BEACH league has 14 teams and as always we play no matter what the weather is on the coast. Congratulations to the Winners!!!
